Late Roman Period Exhibit

Late Roman Period Exhibit Jerusalem is shown here as ''Aelia Capitolina'', a typical Roman city of pagan temples and imperial statues, as ordered by Emperor Hadrian in 131 CE.
The exhibit tells the story of the Jewish revolt against Rome, led by Bar Kochba (132 CE). After its suppression, Jews were strictly forbidden to settle in Jerusalem.
