Canaanite Period Exhibit

The first part of the permanent exhibition focuses on the earliest written evidence of Jerusalem, at the beginning of the early 2nd millennium BCE.
The exhibit begins in the middle of that millennium, when the kings of Jerusalem were merely vassals of Egypt, and ends in the mid-12th century BCE, with the collapse of Egyptian control in the country.
